Job summary

Innomotics in Mumbai/Navi Mumbai is seeking a Portfolio Consultant Professional to join the IN LV GM CRM SSP global Technical Sales Support Team. You will prepare quotations and provide technical and commercial consulting to assigned customers, shaping cost-optimised product solutions.

You will size and configure products, build strong customer relationships, track quotations, and support order processing and after-sales inquiries. Strong English skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
• 5 years' experience in technical/commercial consultancy, sizing and configuring products.
• In-depth SAP ERP knowledge.
• Strong MS Office 365 skills (Teams, Planner, OneNote, SharePoint, Word, Excel).
• Process-oriented, structured thinking; knowledge of lean management and CIP.
• Strong teamwork, communication, independent and quality-oriented work style.
• Initiative, analytical skills, team spirit, and customer focus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Your future role.

• As part of our Technical Sales Support Team, you will be responsible for preparing quotations as part of the overall technical and commercial process for your assigned customers.
• You will provide technical and commercial consulting and support to customers as part of the internal sales team
• You will develop and plan cost-optimised and customized product and system solutions by sizing and configuring products
• Within your area of responsibility, you will be responsible for carrying out customer advisory tasks and ensuring customer loyalty.
• This includes, amongst other things, monitoring and checking your cases, tracking and following up on your quotations, as well as maintaining contact with customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Identifying and leveraging opportunities for electronic business transactions and existing self-service options with our customers round out your area of responsibility.
• You will support the Sales Professionals through your strong customer relationships and customer-focused approach.
• You will support your colleagues in order processing and handling customer complaints

Your Profile.

• Ideally, you have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering
• You have professional experience: 5 years practical experience in technical and commercial consultancy, the sizing and configuration of products, or in the sale of industrial products (geared motors, industrial gearboxes, electric motors or power transmission systems).
• You have in-depth SAP ERP knowledge
• Your excellent MS Office 365 skills in collaboration tools such as Teams, Planner, OneNote, SharePoint, etc., as well as Word and Excel, round out your profile.
• In addition, you are characterized by a process-oriented and structured approach to thinking and acting, and you have knowledge of lean management as well as the continuous improvement process (CIP).
• You stand out for your strong teamwork and communication skills, as well as your independent and quality-oriented work style.
• You bring initiative, analytical skills, team spirit, and a strong customer focus to the role.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills round out your profile
