ICF in India seeks a senior Programme Manager to lead the Programme Management Unit (PMU) for renewable energy initiatives. You will act as the primary client interface and guide governance, planning and timely delivery of complex schemes.

Serve as the primary interface with the client and provide overall leadership for the Programme Management Unit (PMU).
Lead programme planning, governance, monitoring, and execution to ensure timely delivery of renewable energy schemes and initiatives.
Coordinate and integrate multiple workstreams, including finance, MIS/digital systems, stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and risk management.
Review, quality assure, and approve all PMU deliverables, management reports, presentations, and programme updates before submission.
Maintain programme dashboards, risk and issue registers, and provide strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making and issue resolution.
Strong experience in programme governance, project management, and large-scale scheme implementation.
Proven ability to manage senior government, PSU, and multi-stakeholder relationships.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-support capabilities.
Strong report writing, presentation development, and executive communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver high-quality outputs in complex programme environments.
Renewable energy, infrastructure, energy transition, or government programme implementation.
Experience working with PMUs, government ministries, public sector organizations, or consulting firms supporting large-scale public programmes.
