Job summary

Topgear Consultants in Navi Mumbai seeks a PMG Manager (West) to lead end-to-end manufacturing projects from planning to closure. You will coordinate internally with Sales, SCM, Production, QA/QC, Finance, and Installation teams and liaise with customers and distributors to ensure milestones, scope, budget, and quality are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage assigned projects from order receipt to project closure, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, project trackers, and dashboards.
• Coordinate project kick-off activities and ensure alignment among all stakeholders.
• Act as the central coordination point between Sales, SCM, Production, QA/QC, Dispatch, Finance, Installation Teams, and Customers.
• Facilitate smooth information flow across departments to ensure project milestones are achieved as planned.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and external stakeholders wherever applicable.
• Track procurement, production, dispatch, installation, and project execution milestones.
• Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and initiate corrective actions to maintain timelines.
• Ensure timely completion of customer and distributor orders through proactive follow-up and coordination.
• Act as single point of contact between customer and the AMBSI.
• Follow up with customers and distributors regarding site readiness, delivery schedules, installation status, and project progress.
• Ensure consistent project execution processes for both direct customer orders and distributor-managed projects.
• Address project-related concerns and ensure customer expectations are effectively managed.
• Track project budgets, costs, procurement activities, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate invoicing, milestone payments, advances, retention amounts, and LC documentation.
• Support commercial closure and project revenue realization activities.
• Prepare cases for LD/ Penalty waiver, wherever necessary.
• Prepare MIS reports, project dashboards, management reviews, status reports, meeting minutes, and action trackers.
• Maintain project documentation including schedules, correspondences, approvals, risk registers, lessons learned, and closure reports.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, and project management procedures.
• Identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and delays, and implement mitigation plans.
• Escalate critical issues to management with recommended actions.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and enhance project tracking, reporting, and execution systems.
• Responsible for successful execution and delivery of assigned projects within approved scope, timeline, and budget.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with PMG standards, and project governance frameworks.

Job Purpose
