Job summary

AKShipra Developers Pvt. Ltd. in Greater Noida seeks a Plumber/Plumbing Technician to perform day‑to‑day plumbing, water supply, drainage and sanitary maintenance at projects. ITI in Plumbing and 2–5 years of experience are preferred, with a focus on real estate facilities management.

The role requires attending complaints, maintaining systems, and ensuring timely resolution while following safety protocols. You will work with the engineering team on site.

Responsibilities

Plumber / Plumbing Technician

Job Purpose

To carry out day-to-day plumbing, water supply, drainage and sanitary maintenance activities at the project/site. The role involves attending plumbing complaints, maintaining water supply systems, pumps, motors, tanks, valves and drainage systems, and ensuring timely resolution of plumbing-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and complete routine plumbing complaints at the site and update the Helpdesk and Engineer for timely closure.
• Assist the Engineering team and other maintenance staff whenever required.
• Check and repair leakages in plumbing shafts, common areas, rooms, toilets and other site areas.
• Carry out routine operation and maintenance of all water supply motors.
• Carry out routine operation and maintenance of various water supply and drainage pumps.
• Maintain appropriate water levels in overhead tanks and underground water tanks.
• Check and rectify valves including ball valves, NRVs and other plumbing valves.
• Identify and repair leakage from pipes, joints, valves, fittings and plumbing lines.
• Ensure uninterrupted water supply to all water taps, toilets and common facilities.
• Maintain adequate water supply for external gardens and landscaping areas.
• Check the drainage of all drains, overflow points and related drainage systems.
• Inspect the condition and operation of sump pumps and report/rectify issues.
• Check glands, oil seals and other pump components for leakage or damage.
• Attend leakage and maintenance issues related to pumps, motors and associated plumbing systems.
• Clear and maintain GT (gully trap), waste lines, soil lines, main risers and drainage chambers.
• Carry out repair and maintenance of flush systems, WC, washbasins, taps, faucets and other sanitary fittings.
• Attend blockages in toilets, drainage lines and waste/soil lines.
• Ensure proper functioning of water supply and drainage systems across the site.
• Maintain plumbing tools and equipment in proper working condition.
• Conduct regular inspection of plumbing installations and identify potential leakages, blockages or breakdowns.
• Maintain required maintenance records, checklists and logbooks as instructed by the Engineer/Supervisor.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for resolving plumbing-related complaints.
• Immediately report major plumbing, water supply, drainage or equipment issues to the Engineer/Supervisor.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE while carrying out maintenance work.
• Perform any other plumbing or maintenance-related duties assigned by the Engineer/Supervisor.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong hands-on knowledge of plumbing repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of water supply and drainage systems.
• Experience in operating and maintaining pumps and water supply motors.
• Knowledge of different plumbing valves such as Ball Valve, NRV, Gate Valve, etc.
• Ability to identify and rectify pipe, joint, valve and sanitary fitting leakages.
• Knowledge of underground and overhead water tanks.
• Basic knowledge of sump pumps, drainage systems, GT, waste lines and soil lines.
• Ability to repair and maintain WC, flushes, taps, washbasins and other sanitary fittings.
• Ability to handle emergency plumbing complaints and breakdowns.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious and disciplined approach to work.

Educational Qualification & Experience

ITI in Plumbing or relevant technical trade will be preferred.

Candidates should have 25 years of relevant experience in plumbing maintenance, preferably in real estate projects, residential/commercial buildings, facility management, hotels, hospitals, malls or large campuses.

Candidates with strong hands‑on experience in water supply, pumps, drainage and sanitary maintenance will be preferred.
