Job summary

Shalimar Corp. in Lucknow seeks an experienced Assistant Manager (Plumbing & Firefighting) to manage and supervise the execution of plumbing and firefighting works for real estate projects.

You will oversee planning, execution, coordination, quality control, testing, commissioning, and timely completion of assigned works. The role requires 10-12 years of relevant experience in Plumbing and Firefighting, with strong knowledge of site execution, drawings, BOQs, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 10-12 years of relevant experience in Plumbing and Firefighting works
• Experience in Real Estate, High-Rise Residential, Commercial, or Construction projects is preferred
• Strong knowledge of site execution, drawings, BOQs, quality standards, and testing & commissioning

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all Plumbing and Firefighting works at project sites.
• Review approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, and technical requirements.
• Ensure execution of water supply, drainage, sanitary, sewage, and stormwater systems.
• Manage the installation of firefighting systems, including fire hydrants, sprinklers, fire pumps, hose reels, piping, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Ensure timely execution of work as per project schedules and approved quality standards.
• Monitor contractor performance, manpower deployment, and work progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues related to plumbing and firefighting works.
• Ensure proper material planning, quantity verification, and availability of required materials.
• Verify measurements, contractor bills, and work completion status.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, relevant codes, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee testing and commissioning of plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Prepare progress reports, site records, checklists, and MIS.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.
