Job summary

We.PLM is seeking a test automation lead to define, build, and lead automated testing for PLM solutions. You will ensure releases are reliable, scalable, and fit for purpose, leading a 4–6 tester team across project phases.

You should hold a Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering and have strong experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, TestComplete, Cypress) and exposure to ENOVIA, CATIA, or Autodesk Inventor. Agile/Scrum experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Experience with one or more test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, TestComplete, Cypress or similar).
• Exposure to ENOVIA, CATIA and/or Autodesk Inventor.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and structured test management processes.
• Able to lead delivery with a small team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Define automated testing approach for PLM implementation projects (regression, integration, UAT).
• Determine scope of manual vs. automated tests based on risk and tooling constraints.
• Supervise and coordinate a 4–6 tester team across testing phases.
• Monitor defect lifecycle and ensure timely communication across teams.
• Oversee automated test execution across frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, TestComplete, Cypress).
• Evaluate new tools or frameworks to improve coverage, speed or maintainability.
• Identify high‑risk areas and ensure focused coverage that meets business needs.

Your mission

As a test automation lead you are responsible for defining, building, and leading automated testing for PLM solutions.

This role demands to ensure every release is reliable, scalable, and genuinely fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the overall automated testing approach for the implementation project, covering regression, integration, and UAT support

• Define the scope of manual vs. automated tests based on risk, effort, and tooling constraints

• Supervise and coordinate a team of 4-6 testers across all phases of testing

• Monitor defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution with clear communication across functional, technical, and business teams

• Oversee and participate in the execution of automated tests across any relevant framework - Selenium, Playwright, TestComplete, or equivalent

• Evaluate and adopt new tools or frameworks where they add genuine value to coverage, speed, or maintainability

• Identify high-risk areas and ensure focused, proportionate test coverage

• Work closely with business representatives, stream leads, and IT to ensure test coverage meets business needs
