Job summary

ProductSpace Solutions Inc. seeks a permanent PLM Support Engineer to manage the day-to-day operations and upkeep of a Siemens Teamcenter PLM system.

You will be onsite for 3 years at our client’s facility, a premier Public Sector Defence Manufacturing enterprise to provide immediate technical assistance, maintain system stability, and prevent downtime for active engineering projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter administration or IT support.
• Solid understanding of Teamcenter modules (Access Manager, Structure Manager, Change Management).
• Experience troubleshooting NX CAD and AutoCAD integrations.
• Exposure to Siemens RapidAuthor is preferred.
• Basic Oracle database environments and Windows Server administration helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide rapid, hands-on troubleshooting for Teamcenter issues for CAD designers, engineers, and managers.
• Monitor system performance, run daily health checks, and manage license usage across workstations.
• Implement authorized minor updates to workflows, user roles, access privileges, and data classifications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CAD-to-PLM connections (NX and AutoCAD) and coordinate database issues with local IT teams.
• Troubleshoot RapidAuthor client installations and licensing issues for technical writers.
• Support publication workflows by assisting authors in using the Rapid Author Connector for Teamcenter.
• Troubleshoot failed CAD-to-data conversions and coordinate with database admins to resolve bottlenecks.
• Provide onboarding and guidance to new users and contract staff.

You will be deputed onsite for 3 years at ourclient’s facility, a premier Public Sector Defence Manufacturing enterprise toprovide immediate technical assistance, maintain system stability, and preventdowntime for active engineering projects.

KeyResponsibilities

• Day-to-DayUser Support: Provide rapid, hands-on troubleshooting for CAD designers,engineers, and managers experiencing Teamcenter issues.
• SystemMaintenance: Monitor system performance, run daily health checks, andmanage license usage (floating/network licenses) across workstations.
• MinorConfigurations: Implement authorized minor updates to workflows, user roles,access privileges, and data classifications.
• IntegrationSupport: Maintain and troubleshoot CAD-to-PLM connections (NX and AutoCAD) andcoordinate database issues with local IT teams.
• RapidAuthorApplication Support : Maintain and troubleshoot client-sideinstallations of the RapidAuthor suite, resolving licensing, connection, andrendering issues for technical writers.
• PublicationWorkflow Maintenance: Support technical publication workflows byassisting authors in using the Rapid Author Connector for Teamcenter tocheck-out CAD models and check-in updated manuals.
• DataTranslation Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot failed CAD-to-technical-dataconversions occurring within the Rapid Data Converter and coordinate withdatabase admins to resolve memory or server bottlenecks.
• Onboarding& Guidance: Provide ongoing, informal training and support to new usersand contract staff joining the project.
• OEM Liaison: Log ticketsand work directly with Siemens technical support to resolve complex bugs,software updates, and patch installations.

Qualifications& Skills

MandatoryRequirements:

• Bachelor'sdegree or Diploma in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter administration, IT support, or systemmaintenance.
• Solidunderstanding of Teamcenter modules (Access Manager, Structure Manager, ChangeManagement, and workflow execution).
• Experiencetroubleshooting NX CAD and AutoCAD integrations.
• Basic hands-ontroubleshooting experience with interactive technical authoring tools or 3Dpublication software (exposure to Siemens RapidAuthor suite is highlypreferred).
• Basicunderstanding of Oracle database environments and Windows Serveradministration.
• Excellenttroubleshooting skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
• Indiancitizenship (required for secure government site clearance), medical fitness,and clean background check for police verification. No personal electronicdevices are permitted in the client’s secure work zones.
