Star Automations in Bengaluru (Mahadevapura) tests, repairs and supports PLCs and HMIs, and helps customers back up, restore and retrofit automation systems. Responsibilities include testing and diagnosing PLC modules and HMI panels, backing up and restoring programs and configurations, and supporting retrofits of obsolete systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLC and HMI from Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta or Omron.
• Understanding of industrial networks and I/O.
• Methodical fault finding and clear, precise documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Test and diagnose PLC modules and HMI panels
• Back up and restore programs and configurations for customers
• Support retrofit of obsolete PLC and HMI systems
• Help customers on call and on site with automation problems

Requirements:

• PLC and HMI experience on at least two common makes (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Delta, Omron)
• Understanding of industrial networks and I/O
• Methodical fault finding
• Clear documentation

Nice to have:

• Drives and servo commissioning
• Programming and migration experience
• Site commissioning experience
