Job summary

Frinks Digital Technologies in Pune is seeking an Application Engineer for Machine Vision to drive feasibility studies, deployment, and customer support. You will bridge customer needs with product capabilities, demonstrate solutions on-site and virtually, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery.

The role requires hands-on PLC integration, machine vision platform expertise, and travel within India or abroad as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Communication Engineering.
• In-depth expertise in machine vision platforms.
• Strong knowledge of lighting concepts and camera/lens selection.
• Hands-on PLC integration and experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP).

Responsibilities

• Application Feasibility: Evaluate and recommend technical solutions based on customer requirements.
• Product Demonstration: Conduct on-site and virtual trials, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve on-ground issues and provide effective resolutions.
• System Integration: Work on seamless integration of vision systems with PLCs, controllers, and factory networks.
• Customer Enablement: Train and support customers and internal sales teams on product usage and best practices.
• Reporting & Feedback: Submit detailed evaluation reports and share insights with the product and engineering teams.
• Project Tracking: Maintain accurate logs and updates using internal systems like sales Book.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Travel: Willingness to travel for short or long duration within India or abroad as needed
