Job summary

YM Automation Private Limited in Coimbatore is seeking a PLC Engineer to design, program and maintain automation systems for industrial applications. You will develop PLC programs, troubleshoot automation, and test systems to ensure reliable production processes.

The role requires hands-on on-site work, experience with PLC, SCADA and HMI, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics or Automation is required, with 2–3 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in PLC programming, SCADA and HMI configuration.
• Knowledge of industrial automation systems and control strategies.
• Strong problem-solving skills in system troubleshooting and debugging.
• Familiarity with IoT technologies and their integration with automation systems.
• Proficiency in electrical and electronic system design and implementation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore and provide hands-on technical support.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Prior experience in industrial automation or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
• Experience in Siemens, Schneider or Delta is an added advantage.
• 2-3 Year Experience in SPM or equivalent is mandatory
