Job summary

Talentbridge is hiring a Platform Software Engineer in India for a 6+ month contract-to-hire. The role requires strong C programming skills and experience testing RTOS/hypervisor-based embedded systems, with an emphasis on black-box testing and regression automation.

You will work onsite in Pune or Ahmedabad, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and security coverage, analyze defects, and implement robust test procedures and system-level scenarios.

Qualifications

• Strong C programming and debugging fundamentals.
• Experience in Black-Box testing of RTOS or hypervisor-based embedded systems.
• Experience in analyzing test failures, identifying system defects, and supporting root cause debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Black-Box test for RTOS/Hypervisor products
• Translate requirements and DO-178C DAL-A objectives into test procedures and scripts.
• Design and implement system-level scenarios: thread/process performance, context switching, IPC, device driver latency, resource isolation, and stress/limit tests.
• Validate compliance using only externally observable behaviors and interfaces.
• Work with certification, architecture, and white-box test for full safety/security coverage.
• Analyze and report system defects, support root cause analysis.
• Build automated test suites for scalable regression.
