Job summary

Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Hyderabad is hiring for an IT - Software QA Tester 1 on a 12‑month contract.

The role focuses on functional safety concepts, ISO 26262 compliance, and verification/validation of software and firmware within embedded automotive systems. You will work with test automation frameworks, regression environments, and tools like JIRA/Confluence, ensuring requirements traceability and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Functional Safety concepts and ISO 26262.
• Experience in Software/Firmware Verification and Validation.
• Knowledge of ASIL, Safety Goals, HARA, FMEA/FMEDA, and Safety Analysis techniques.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and regression environments.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, requirements traceability, and coverage tracking.
• Good knowledge of embedded systems, ARM/RPU architecture, and ISP/Image Processing pipelines.
• Experience in Linux, scripting (Python/Shell), and debugging tools.
• Understanding of automotive software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform software/firmware verification and validation activities.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts and regression suites.
• Analyze safety requirements and ensure traceability throughout the cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and improve coverage.
