Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in Bengaluru seeks a Platform Engineering Senior Manager / Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable AWS-based cloud solutions while guiding DevOps engineers.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, apply Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and ensure robust deployment, patching, and security practices. You will lead efforts to optimize resources for cost and performance, stay current with AWS innovations, and document solutions per Takeda

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related study, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience architecting, deploying, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
• 5+ years of expert level experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, LBs, S3).
• Highly proficient in provisioning AWS resources using Infrastructure as a code (IaC), Hands on experience developing Terraform scripts.
• Strong hands on experience with containerization (EKS, OpenShift) is an advantage.
• Experience with Harness is an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.

Responsibilities

Platform Engineering Senior Manager
As a Platform Engineering Senior Manager / Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will also be responsible for guiding other DevOps engineers in their implementation of designs.
