IND - 2028 Takeda Innovations India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a Platform Engineering Senior Manager / Cloud Solution Architect to design, implement, and run scalable AWS cloud solutions. You will guide DevOps engineers, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure best practices for cloud adoption and operations.

You will lead architecture, CI/CD, IaC with Terraform, and containerization (EKS/OpenShift).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years architecting, deploying, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
• 5+ years building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, LBs, S3).
• Expert in provisioning AWS resources with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Hands-on containerization with EKS/OpenShift is an advantage.
• Experience with Harness is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Platform Engineering Senior Manager / Cloud Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services(AWS). You will also be responsible for guiding other DevOps engineers in their implementation of designs. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing business requirements, and architecting cloud environments that meet organizational needs. The Cloud Solution Architect ensures best practices are followed for cloud adoption, migration, and ongoing operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Apply deep cloud infrastructure knowledge with respect to microservices architecture, design patterns, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
• Provision AWS environments using infrastructure-as-code and partner with development teams to design a robust deployment and patching strategy.
• Ensure security, scalability, and high availability of cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate cloud solutions.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency and performance.
• Stay current with AWS services, features, and best practices; provide recommendations for improvements.
• Develop and maintain application documentation according to Takeda Quality Systems and Software Development Life Cycle standards and procedures.
• Educate yourself on Takeda standards, approved services, and best practices and make recommendations that follow those.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related study, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience architecting, deploying, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
• 5+ years of expert level experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, LBs, S3).
• Highly proficient in provisioning AWS resources using Infrastructure as a code (IaC), Hands on experience developing Terraform scripts.
• Strong hands on experience with containerization (EKS, OpenShift) is an advantage.
• Experience with Harness is an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.
