Job summary

Schaeffler Global Services India Pvt Ltd in Pune, India, seeks a senior DevOps professional to build scalable cloud platforms and lead IaC initiatives for AI-driven infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for AI platforms using IaC (Terraform, Python)

• Automate operational efforts and establish self-service solutions for internal customers
• Establish and maintain logging, monitoring and alerting systems across cloud environments
• Take technical responsibility of applications during life cycle as part of a DevOps team
• Collaborate with external software vendors for IT systems development and maintenance
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans for mission-critical apps and infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards in coordination with security teams

Formal prerequisites for the position (e.g. training, experience, education etc.)

· University degree in (business) informatics or alternative training with relevant professional experience in this field

· At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in this field

· Strong automation and infrastructure as code mindset backed by proven experience in using Terraform and CI/CD technologies like Jenkins or GitHub Actions

· Experience with at least one additional scripting programming language such as Python

· Used DevOps workflows for infrastructure management and automated incident response before

· Hands-on experience working with managed cloud services (AWS or Azure), including compute, storage, databases, and AI services

· Profound knowledge about common patterns for secure service-to-service connectivity and modern authentication protocols

· Developed and maintained common monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions in cloud environments

· Experience with installing, configuring and maintaining third party software in secured and enterprise ready private cloud environments

· Sound knowledge about latest AI technology, like AI Agents, in combination with AI process automation is a plus

· Fluent in English, spoken and written

· Ability and willingness to take responsibility for services

· Strong hands-on attitude combined with good analytical skills

· Ability to learn new technologies and skills (T-Shape philosophy)

· Proficiency in agile methodologies, with experience working effectively within agile teams and environments, fostering an agile mindset in daily work

· Taking on the technical responsibility of applications throughout the life cycle as part of a DevOps team

· Build and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for mission-critical applications and infrastructure

· Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, working with security and compliance teams as necessary
