Job summary

SCHAEFFLER GLOBAL SERVICES INDIA PVT LTD in Pune seeks a Platform Engineer / Integration Engineer to enhance a self-service platform for SAP Advanced Event Mesh and CPI. You will work on secure, scalable integration across a heterogeneous landscape, focusing on the self-service backbone using Entra ID and Azure.

The role requires hands-on experience with event brokers, SAP CPI, Azure, and IAM concepts, with a drive for automation, governance, and cross-functional collaboration in an agile

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with at least one event broker / event streaming platform such as SAP Advanced Event Mesh, Solace PubSub+, Kafka, or Confluent.
• Good working knowledge of the Azure ecosystem and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID or comparable identity and access management concepts.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures and distributed application integration.
• Experience in agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Improve and further develop the self-service platform for event broker onboarding and usage.
• Support the design and operation of the backbone based on SAP Advanced Event Mesh, SAP Cloud Integration, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure services.
• Enable secure access, identity management, and role-based onboarding for decentralized application teams.
• Work with multiple technologies, depending on the landscape and use case.
• Collaborate with architects, platform teams, and application teams to standardize event-driven integration patterns.
• Contribute to automation, platform governance, and reusable onboarding mechanisms.
• Help ensure scalability, observability, security, and operational stability of the solution.
• Support integration scenarios between SAP systems and non-SAP applications.
• Translate technical requirements into practical, maintainable platform capabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and technically experienced Platform Engineer / Integration Engineer to support the continued improvement of a self-service offering in the context of SAP Advanced Event Mesh and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI). The role focuses on strengthening the underlying self-service backbone, which is based on Microsoft Entra ID and Azure technologies, and on enabling secure, scalable, and standardized integration across a heterogeneous enterprise landscape.

• Good working knowledge of the Azure ecosystem
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID or comparable identity and access management concepts
• Understanding of event-driven architectures and distributed application integration
• Ability to work in a heterogeneous system landscape
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Curiosity, adaptability, and a clear commitment to learning and applying new technologies appropriately
• Good communication skills and the ability to work across technical and organizational boundaries
• Experience in consulting or in one software development ecosystem such as:
