Job summary

Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. Bengaluru is hiring a Platform Design Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in x86 CPU architecture, hardware design, board bring-up, and low‑level firmware.

You will work with cross‑geography teams to deliver robust designs for client systems in a fast‑paced environment. The role involves creating demos, supporting x86-based processing systems, reviewing boards and schematics, and developing training and marketing materials for FAEs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in x86 CPU architecture, debuggers, and system requirements.
• In-depth understanding of hardware design, schematics, and related analysis.
• Board bring-up experience and related debug activities, including hardware-level investigations.
• Experience with UEFI, BIOS and bootloaders.
• Knowledge of IO interfaces and storage DDR4/5, PCIe Gen3/4/5, Ethernet.
• Hands-on with AMD tools for hardware design and low-level software.

Responsibilities

• Define and create customer demos or example designs.
• Support customers on x86 based processing systems.
• Investigate issues related to board bring-up and hardware design.
• Review board design guides, schematics, and functional design.
• Review hardware design and low-level firmware for system design and issues.
• Resolve customer issues on protocols like PCIe, USB, SATA, Ethernet.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience and possesses an in-depth understanding of x86 CPU architecture, debuggers, and system requirements
• In depth understanding of Hardware design, schematics, and related analysis
• Board bring-up experience and related debug activities, including investigating at hardware level
• Experience with UEFI, BIOS and bootloaders.
• Knowledge of industry standard IO interfaces and storage DDR4/5, PCIe Gen3/4/5, 1, 2.5/10G Ethernet
• Desire to be hands on with AMD tools required for Hardware design, and low-level software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability in writing application notes, white papers & customer presentations.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a collaborative team across multiple geographies to creatively solve challenging problems.
• Self-sufficient in board design concepts and methods, coding, and debugging.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with engineering, marketing, customers, FAEs and sales to deliver timely solutions.
