Job summary

Sunrise Biztech Systems Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer for a 12-month role in Bengaluru to join the Data Center Server Manageability team.

The candidate will work on pre-silicon firmware for server platforms and engage with simulation and emulation tools to enable rapid time-to-market. The role requires strong C/C++, Python, and scripting skills, plus hands-on experience with x86 bring-up and server platform management.

Qualifications

• 48 years of relevant experience in firmware/software development.
• Minimum 3 years of pre-silicon firmware/software development.
• Strong experience with simulation, emulation, and/or QEMU.
• Hands-on x86 processor board bring-up / Day-0 experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with I2C, I3C, UART, USB, and PCIe.
• Strong understanding of embedded debugging and software development toolchains.
• Experience with Python and Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize firmware/software by leveraging platform capabilities.
• Develop and validate firmware in pre-silicon simulation and emulation environments.
• Support board bring-up and Day-0 platform activities.
• Enable and debug I2C, I3C, UART, USB, and PCIe interfaces.
• Modify, build, compile, assemble, and debug embedded firmware.
• Work with compilers, assemblers, debuggers, build systems, and other embedded development tools.
• Develop and debug firmware using AI-assisted development tools/models where applicable.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Silicon Firmware/Software Developer to join the Data Center Server Manageability (DCSM) team.

The engineer will be responsible for developing and enabling next-generation server manageability and debug solutions in pre-silicon environments on advanced x86 platforms. The role involves working with simulation and emulation infrastructure to support pre-silicon activities and ensure high-quality silicon and faster time-to-market.

The position provides an opportunity to work on advanced SoC architectures and AMD EPYC-class data center/server platforms, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
