Thermax in Pune is seeking a Plant Operator for a contract role to operate and monitor ETP/WTP plants, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Freshers with relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

The role involves handling plant equipment, monitoring pumps, log sheets, and following safety procedures. Rotational shifts are required, and immediate joiners will be preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Sc. qualification.
• 0–1 year experience in ETP/WTP or Water & Wastewater Treatment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of ETP/WTP operations.
• Basic understanding of pumps and blowers.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ETP/WTP plant equipment and processes.
• Monitor pumps, blowers, valves and other plant equipment.
• Check and monitor basic plant operating parameters.
• Conduct routine inspection of plant equipment.
• Maintain daily operation records and log sheets.
• Identify and report equipment/process abnormalities to supervisor.
