Job summary

Flexy Managers is seeking a Plant Head (Manufacturing Powder Coating) to lead end-to-end operations at a Noida-based plant. The role covers production, maintenance, quality, safety, and compliance, ensuring smooth plant functioning.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in manufacturing and strong leadership, with expertise in production, maintenance, QC, and plant safety across chemical/process industries. Knowledge of MIS and Excel is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Chemical Engineering preferred (Mechanical/Production also acceptable).
• 15+ years of manufacturing plant experience.
• Minimum 7–10 years in production management.
• Should have led a sizeable plant (100+ workforce / 100+ crore output).
• Strong knowledge of Production, Maintenance, QC, and Plant Safety.
• Experience in chemical, coatings, paint, polymer, or other process industries.
• Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, and Excel/MIS skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations including Production, Maintenance, QC, Logistics, and Admin
• Achieve production targets as per the production plan
• Manage fixed & variable production costs within budget
• Ensure output meets quality standards through strong QC/QA practices
• Drive productivity improvement and process optimization
• Manage worker deployment, labor relations, and safety practices
• Oversee preventive & breakdown maintenance of machines and utilities
• Liaise with government bodies (Pollution Board, Electricity Dept, Labor Dept, ISO, Factories Act)
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and statutory requirements
• Implement fire safety protocols inspections, and training
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and coordinate with suppliers
• Maintain factory MIS reports and drive operational excellence
