Job summary

Isotex in Dahej, Gujarat is seeking a hands-on Plant Head to lead the boiler pressure parts, heavy fabrication and EPC manufacturing operations. You will drive production plans, ensure quality, safety and cost targets, and build a strong second-line leadership team.

The ideal candidate has 15–20 years of manufacturing experience with a background in mechanical or production engineering, and strong welding, NDT, PWHT and material-traceability expertise.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
• 15–20 years of manufacturing experience with plant leadership.
• Strong exposure to boilers / pressure parts and EPC manufacturing.
• Proven track record in OTD, productivity, quality and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant manufacturing operations with ownership of production, OTD, productivity, quality, cost and safety.
• Drive daily and weekly production plans against project and dispatch schedules.
• Improve fabrication output, labour productivity, machine utilization and lead time.
• Control factory conversion cost, overtime, contract labour, rework and wastage.
• Ensure welding, NDT, PWHT, hydrotest and material traceability discipline.
• Drive reduction in NCRs, weld repairs and cost of poor quality.
• Ensure high equipment availability through preventive maintenance.
• Lead EHS, 5S, shop-floor discipline and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Stores and Quality.
• Develop supervisors and build a strong second-line manufacturing team.
• Prepare and monitor plant budgets, manpower plans and capex requirements.

Position: Plant Head

Location: Dahej, Gujarat

Industry: Boilers / Pressure Equipment / Heavy Fabrication / EPC Manufacturing

The Company is looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead its Dahej manufacturing operations for boiler pressure parts, heavy fabrication, assembly and special project equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complete plant manufacturing operations with ownership of production, OTD, productivity, quality, cost and safety
• Drive daily and weekly production plans against project and dispatch schedules
• Improve fabrication output, labour productivity, machine utilization and manufacturing lead time
• Control factory conversion cost, overtime, contract labour, rework and material wastage
• Ensure strong welding, NDT, PWHT, hydrotest and material-traceability discipline

Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical / Production Engineering preferred
• 15–20 years of manufacturing experience
• Minimum 5 years in a plant leadership / senior manufacturing role
• Strong exposure to one or more of:
• Boilers and pressure parts
• Pressure vessels / heat exchangers
• Heavy fabrication
• Power or process equipment
• EPC manufacturing
• Strong working knowledge of welding, WPS/PQR, NDT, PWHT, hydrotesting, material traceability and quality systems
• Proven track record of improving OTD, productivity, quality and manufacturing cost
• Strong shop-floor leadership and contractor-management capability
• Exposure to IBR/ASME/TPI-driven fabrication will be preferred
