Job summary

Nourish Pharmaceutical invites an experienced Plant Head to lead the OSD formulation plant, overseeing production of tablets, capsules and oral liquids. You will drive GMP compliance, quality, productivity, cost control and regulatory readiness while steering manpower and engineering coordination.

The role requires 10–15 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of GMP and audits.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/plant management.
• Strong experience in Oral Solid Dosage (Tablets & Capsules) manufacturing.
• Exposure to Oral Liquid manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in commercial-scale GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory/customer audits and pharmaceutical quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day plant operations across Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, Planning, Purchase, and HR.
• Ensure achievement of production plans and on-time batch completion and dispatch.
• Monitor capacity, yield, downtime, and productivity.
• Ensure GMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR and regulatory compliance.
• Lead readiness for audits and CAPA closure.
• Coordinate with Engineering & Maintenance to minimise breakdowns and equipment downtime.
• Drive productivity improvement and cost reduction.
• Plan manpower, training and develop second-line leadership.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and shop-floor discipline.
• Prepare periodic performance reports and present to senior management.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead and manage overall operations of a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility handling Tablets, Capsules and Oral Liquids. The role will be responsible for production performance, GMP compliance, quality, productivity, cost control, manpower management, engineering coordination, regulatory readiness and timely dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day plant operations and coordinate Production, QA, QC, Warehouse, Engineering, Planning, Purchase and HR.
• Ensure achievement of production plans and timely batch completion and dispatch.
• Monitor plant capacity, machine utilisation, yield, rejection, rework, downtime and productivity.
• Ensure strict compliance with GMP, SOPs, BMR/BPR and regulatory requirements.
• Lead plant readiness for regulatory and customer audits and ensure timely CAPA closure.
• Coordinate with Engineering & Maintenance to minimise breakdowns and equipment downtime.
• Drive productivity improvement, cost reduction, cycle-time reduction and efficient manpower utilisation.
• Ensure proper manpower planning, discipline, training and development of second-line leadership.
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and shop-floor discipline.
• Prepare and review periodic plant performance reports and present key issues and corrective actions to senior management.

Production achievement, on-time batch completion, yield, rejection/rework, machine utilisation, downtime, changeover time, manpower productivity, GMP compliance, audit performance, CAPA closure, maintenance compliance, customer complaints and operational cost reduction.

Candidate Profile:

• 10 - 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing/plant management.
• Strong experience in Oral Solid Dosage (Tablets & Capsules) manufacturing.
• Exposure to Oral Liquid manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in commercial-scale GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory/customer audits and pharmaceutical quality systems.
