Job summary

Lodha is seeking a maintenance engineer to manage Plant and Machinery for the project at Navi Mumbai. You will ensure Lodha-owned equipment is available, well-maintained, and that contractor equipment aligns with CM guidelines.

The role requires strong technical guidance, planning of preventive maintenance, and close collaboration with the logistics and site teams to minimize downtime and ensure safety at site.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand all Plant and Machinery pertaining to the project.
• Ensure Lodha owned Plant and Machinery are available at site and in working condition.
• Reduce the downtime of equipment
• Ensure contractors' equipment are installed and operated as required by CM team
• Provide technical guidance to contractor P&M and safety team on preventive maintenance
• Prepare cumulative preventive maintenance schedule and ensure implementations
• Coordinate with logistics and site store team for internal shifting of assets
• Involved in planning and installation of hoists, lifts, towers, cranes, and related inspections

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Review and understand all Plant and Machinery pertaining to the project.
• Ensure that Lodha owned Plant and Machinery are available at site and in working condition as and when required.
• Reduce the down time of equipments
• Ensure that contractors equipment are installed and operated as and when required by CM team. Ensure the timely height extension of equipments
• Ensure that preventive maintenance of Lodha owned equipments are carried out timely as per schedule and as per OEM recommendations
• Plan and keep inventory for the critical spares like VFD, cable and other spares that is not covered in AMC
• Share the maintenance schedule with CM team and ensure that the maintenance activities are carried out in time
• Breakdown maintenance to be minimized
• Provide technical guidance to contractor P&M and safety team related to preventive maintenance
• Prepare cumulative preventive maintenance schedule and ensure the implementations
• Ensure preventive maintenance & third party inspection of Lodha owned, rented & contractors equipment’s are carried out timely.
• Ensure safe erection & dismantling of Lodha owned, rented & contractor’s equipment at site
• Co-ordinate with logistic and site store team for internal shifting of assets.
• Provide technical support/guidance to CM team to resolve issues related to P&M as and when required.
• Involved in planning, installation of hoists and internal lifts at different location & pre-inspection and installation, selection of tower crane, hoists, lifts etc.

Qualification & Work Experience:

B.Tech. / B.E / Diploma in Engineering with 3-8 years of relevant Real Estate/Large Construction house experience.
