Job summary

CY4 Digital Twin Products & Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Plant Layout Engineer to design facility layouts, production lines, and equipment placement to optimize workflow and operational efficiency using AutoCAD 2D.

You will collaborate with safety, mechanical, electrical, and operations teams to ensure layouts meet safety standards and accommodate future expansions, while optimizing space and ensuring efficient material flow.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 2D drafting, drawing modification, block creation and management, layer management, dimensioning, layout design, layout modifications, and engineering drawing/layout interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Design floor plans and accurate 2D layouts for workspaces, machinery, utilities, and storage areas.
• Optimize space utilization by arranging equipment, assembly lines, and material flow paths.
• Update and revise layout drawings to accommodate new equipment, process changes, and facility expansions.
• Collaborate with safety, mechanical, electrical, and operations teams to resolve layout-related challenges.
• Ensure layouts comply with safety and operational requirements.

About the Role

We are looking for a Plant Layout Engineer role that designs facility layouts, production lines, and equipment placement to optimize workflow and operational efficiency. With AutoCAD 2D experience, the engineer creates floor plans, positions machinery, and quickly updates and modifies drawings and the setup.

Responsibilities

• Design floor plans and accurate 2D layouts for workspaces, machinery, utilities, and storage areas.
• Optimize space utilization by arranging equipment, assembly lines, and material flow paths.
• Update and revise layout drawings to accommodate new equipment, process changes, and facility expansions.

Skills Required - AutoCAD 2D:
