Qualifications

Manager Planning (Head Office) Shubhashray | Gurgaon | upto 20 LPA

About the role

We're looking for a sharp, high-energy engineer to become the planning backbone of our Head Office: the person who connects design, procurement, execution and cost so our sites build right, on time and on budget. You'll lead a team of three planners at HO and have a view across the full project lifecycle.

What you'll own

• Team leadership: Lead, mentor and review the work of three junior planners. You'll set standards for how planning is done across the company.
• Planning and scheduling: Build and track master and site-level schedules, spot slippages early, and drive recovery plans with site teams.
• Cost and commercial oversight: Keep indirect oversight of QS, billing, sourcing and contracting. That means checking quantities, reviewing contractor bills, supporting tenders and comparative statements, and making sure contracts match scope.
• Quality and audits: Track material testing, quality checks and audit findings across sites, and close the loop on non-conformances.
• MIS and reporting: Give leadership concise, reliable reports on progress, cost and risk.
• Design coordination and documentation: Work with architects and structural and MEP consultants so drawings are complete, coordinated and issued on time, and push back when a design compromises quality or buildability. You'll also maintain a clean, version-controlled system for drawings, approvals, RFIs and project records.

Who you are

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering. a PG in Construction Management (e.g., NICMAR) or Structures is a plus.
• 5-8 years of experience in residential or building construction, with strong hands-on site exposure.
• Genuinely interested in structural design and in building things properly, not just fast.
• Organised and systematic, the kind of person whose files, trackers and follow-ups are always in order.
• Quick to learn, analytically strong, and comfortable holding your ground with senior consultants and contractors.
• Experienced in guiding and developing junior engineers.
• Proficient in MS Project or Primavera, AutoCAD and advanced Excel.
• Willing to travel to sites regularly.
