Job summary

ASCENTIS seeks a senior planner with civil engineering background to manage master programmes and monitor site progress. You will coordinate design, tenders, purchasing, and construction activities, ensuring schedules align with project milestones.

The role requires 10–15 years in construction planning, strong MS Project skills, and ability to read drawings; Primavera knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication and reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BTech/Bachelor of Engr (Civil) required.
• 10–15 years building construction experience with 3–5 years in planning.
• Hotel projects planning experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Project; knowledge of Primavera is a plus.
• Strong reading of drawings and civil construction knowledge.
• Good command of English; able to write minutes and reports.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project master programme and fortnightly/monthly schedules.
• Monitor project progress and update master programme accordingly.
• Oversee contractors on site and resource adequacy.
• Propose plans for acceleration and document delays/EOT claims.
• Assist project manager in monthly reports (PPR & MPR).

Duties &Responsibilities:

• Prepare andmanage project master programme and fortnightly/monthlyconstruction schedules

Requirements

Required Education& Skills

• Diploma, BTech,or Bachelor of Engr Degree (Civil)
  
• Minimum 10-15years experience in the building construction industrywith at least 3-5 years in a planning position.
  
• Candidate withexperience of working in a Planning position for hotelprojects will be preferred.
  
• Excellentcommand of MS Project (knowledge of Primavera is aplus)
  
• Good technicalknowledge of civil construction acquired as constructionengineer
  
• Good ability toread & review drawings
  
• Good command ofEnglish and ability to write minutes of meting andreports
  
• Proficient withMS Word and Excel
