Job summary

Isgec Heavy Engineering is seeking a seasoned planning professional to prepare and update fabrication plans and schedules for heat exchangers and pressure vessels at the Bina site. You will plan materials, create job cards, and track shop-floor progress across cutting, welding, NDT, heat treatment, and dispatch.

You will coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Design and Procurement, generate MIS reports, and monitor manpower and machine utilisation.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 to 15 years of planning or production planning experience in heat exchanger, pressure vessel or heavy fabrication.
• Good understanding of fabrication processes, welding stages and drawing reading.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project / SAP PP / MS Excel.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update fabrication plans, schedules and milestones for heat exchangers and pressure vessels.
• Plan material requirements and follow up with stores and procurement.
• Create and track job cards, work orders and routing for shop-floor activities.
• Monitor stage-wise progress: cutting, rolling, fit-up, welding, NDT, heat treatment, hydro test, painting and dispatch.
• Coordinate with Production, QA/QC, Design and Procurement to resolve delays and bottlenecks.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports (MIS) for management.
• Track manpower and machine utilisation and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage delivery schedules and customer commitments.
• Support client and TPI coordination related to schedules and inspection planning.

• Create and track job cards, work orders and routing for shop-floor activities

Candidate Profile
