Job summary

G R Infraprojects is seeking a Project Scheduler to develop baseline schedules for Substation and Transmission Line projects using Primavera P6 or MS Project, and to monitor progress across daily, weekly, and monthly intervals.

The role includes preparing Level 3/4 schedules, coordinating with site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors, and delivering WPRs/MPRs, S-curves, and productivity analyses to support project control activities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling and project controls.
• Understanding of power transmission and substation construction activities.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed baseline schedules for Substation and Transmission Line projects.
• Prepare Level 3 / Level 4 schedules including engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Develop resource-loaded and cost-loaded schedules where required.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress.
• Update project schedules and generate progress reports and dashboards.
• Identify schedule variances and propose corrective actions or recovery plans.
• Coordinate with site engineers, construction teams, procurement, and subcontractors for activity planning.
• Participate in project review meetings and present schedule status.
• Ensure alignment between engineering, procurement and construction activities.
• Prepare Weekly Progress Reports (WPR) and Monthly Progress Reports (MPR).
• Track milestones, critical path activities, and delays.
• Prepare S-curves, look-ahead schedules (2-week / 3-week), and productivity analysis.
• Maintain planning documentation including baseline schedules, revisions, delay registers, and progress records.
• Assist in EOT (Extension of Time) claims and delay analysis.
• Conduct critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments.
• Monitor interface issues between Substation and Transmission Line works.
