Job summary

Anarock Property Consultants in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Lead to establish and steer site-level planning systems, aligning design, procurement and construction to ensure timely project execution.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in planning for hospitality or high-rise projects, BE Civil with a Masters in Project Management, and a track record mentoring planning engineers while delivering accurate schedules and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of planning experience in hospitality or high-rise projects.
• BE Civil with Masters in Project Management preferred.
• Ability to lead site-level planning teams and collaborate with design, procurement, and execution teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead site-level planning systems that support timely and efficient project execution.
• Lead planning to align design, procurement, and construction.
• Enable proactive management of project risks through structured planning and monitoring.
• Create and maintain master schedules across design, procurement, construction, commissioning.
• Review, audit, and validate schedules to ensure accuracy, constructability, and logical sequencing.
• Monitor critical and near-critical activities and proactively highlight delays or risks.
• Integrate material lead times and vendor schedules into master plans for procurement.
• Coordinate closely with site teams to reflect actual progress and constraints.
• Prepare detailed progress reports and highlight variances against baseline schedules.
• Support recovery planning, re-sequencing, and mitigation strategies when deviations occur.
• Ensure planning inputs support senior management decision-making.

SCOPE OF THE JOB

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities :

1. Establish and lead site-level planning systems that support timely and efficient project execution.
2. Provide strong planning leadership to ensure alignment between design, procurement, and construction activities.
3. Enable proactive management of project risks through structured planning and monitoring.

Operational Responsibilities :

1. Set up and maintain comprehensive project schedules covering design development, procurement, construction, FFE/OSE (where applicable), and commissioning.
2. Review, audit, and validate schedules to ensure accuracy, constructability, and logical sequencing.
3. Monitor critical and near-critical activities and proactively highlight delays or risks.
4. Support procurement teams by integrating material lead times and vendor schedules into master plans.
5. Coordinate closely with site teams to ensure planning reflects actual progress and constraints.
6. Prepare detailed progress reports and highlight variances against baseline schedules.
