• Maintain planning documentation and project records.
• Identify schedule risks, constraints, and bottlenecks.
• Assist in resource planning and manpower forecasting.
• Support delay analysis, impact assessments, and recovery planning.
• Support earned value management (EVM) and project performance measurement.
• Monitor KPIs related to schedule and progress.
• Collaborate with commercial and procurement teams for schedule integration.

Job Summary

The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules for residential construction projects. The role involves preparing detailed project plans, tracking progress, identifying schedule risks, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery. The candidate should possess strong expertise in project planning tools, construction sequencing, and progress monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures (WBS) using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and recovery schedules.
• Define project milestones, critical paths, and resource requirements.
• Establish planning standards and scheduling methodologies for residential projects.

Monitoring & Progress Tracking

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress against approved schedules.
• Track construction activities and identify delays or deviations.
