Job summary

Waaree Renewable Technologies is seeking a Project Planner for its Mumbai Corporate Office. You will lead project scheduling, monitoring progress and MIS across Solar EPC projects.

This is a pure Planning & Project Controls role with hands-on scheduling and analytical planning emphasis. 5-10 years of relevant experience in solar/renewable EPC is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in project planning and controls in Solar EPC or related sector.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project."
• Strong understanding of WBS, Critical Path, Baseline, Float, Dependencies and Schedule Variance.
• Expertise in MS Excel, Pivot Tables and data analysis.
• Experience in developing Project MIS and management dashboards.
• Knowledge of EPC project lifecycle and schedule risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed Project Execution Schedules.
• Develop WBS, activity sequencing, dependencies, milestones and timelines.
• Prepare and monitor Baseline, Revised and Recovery Schedules.
• Develop Level 3/Level 4 schedules as required.
• Monitor Planned vs Actual Project Progress and Critical Path.
• Identify schedule slippages and conduct delay analysis.
• Prepare Catch-up and Recovery Plans for delays.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Contracts and Commercial teams.
• Prepare weekly/monthly Project Planning MIS and Management Reports.
• Develop dashboards covering progress, variance and forecasts.

Job Summary

WRTL is looking for an experienced Project Planning / Project Controls professional for its Corporate Office. The candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, progress monitoring, schedule analysis, delay identification, recovery planning and project MIS across Solar EPC projects.

This is a pure Planning & Project Controls role, with strong emphasis on hands‑on project scheduling and analytical planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed Project Execution Schedules.


• Develop WBS, activity sequencing, dependencies, milestones and project timelines.


• Prepare and monitor Baseline, Revised and Recovery Schedules.


• Develop Level 3 / Level 4 schedules as required.


• Monitor Planned vs. Actual Project Progress.


• Track critical activities, milestones and Critical Path.


• Identify schedule slippages and conduct schedule variance / delay analysis.


• Prepare Catch-up and Recovery Plans for delayed activities.


• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Contracts, Commercial and Project teams.


• Prepare weekly/monthly Project Planning MIS and Management Reports.

• Analyse project constraints, risks and dependencies and highlight them to management.


• Forecast project completion dates based on actual project performance.


• Support project review meetings with planning analysis and actionable inputs.


• Maintain project schedules, trackers and planning documentation.

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience in Project Planning & Scheduling.


• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.


• Strong understanding of WBS, Critical Path, Baseline, Float, Dependencies and Schedule Variance.


• Good command of MS Excel, Pivot Tables, Lookups and data analysis.


• Experience in preparing Project MIS / Management Dashboards.


• Good understanding of the EPC project lifecycle.


• Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills.


• Knowledge of EVM, Delay Analysis and Recovery Planning will be an added advantage.

Education

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / related Engineering discipline.
