Job summary

Varel Energy Solutions in Faridabad, India, is seeking a Planner to ensure on-time and in-full delivery of products. You will manage SAP production orders, monitor progress, and communicate with internal and external customers.

The role requires 3.5–6 years of relevant experience, a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office. You will work closely with production teams to optimize inventory and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Launch production orders in SAP based on the production plan.
• Monitor production to ensure on-time deliveries according to the production plan and communicate any obstacles that prevent it.
• Coordinate RUSH orders / customer priorities on the floor.
• Respond to customer requests for order status updates and modifications within 24 hours.
• Publish order status updates through lifecycle of the order.
• Supervise and support final product shipments and carry out appropriate transactions.
• Coordinate the movement of raw materials between BV and the plant through SAP to ensure material for production.
• Supervise and support the cyclical counting process to avoid inventory discrepancies.
• Use lean principles and methods for continuous improvement.
• Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
• Comply with the requirements of the Health, Safety and Environment System.
