Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production/CNC environments.
• Strong knowledge of CNC VMC programming.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and interpreting technical drawings.

Summary

VES is looking for an Engineer Production to join our team in Faridabad, India. This person will be responsible for coordinating the activities in Press Shop & Weld Shop section along with his team including operators to achieve established targets of Safety, Quality, Production volume, Cost Delivery & Morale.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and modify computer-aided design (CAD) models and convert them into precise, efficient machine-readable code (G-code) using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software.
• Work closely with machinists and engineers to ensure high-quality production and accuracy in machining components.
• Develop and program CNC machine tools using CAD and CAM software.
• Design 2D/3D models and convert them into machine instructions (G-code).
• Set up and calibrate machines according to specifications, ensuring that parts are machined to precise tolerances.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Modify existing programs to optimize machine performance and reduce cycle time.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any machine programming or operational issues.
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine material, machine, tooling, and process requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest CAD/CAM technologies and machining techniques.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and assist in machine repairs when necessary.
• Document and maintain records of program changes, production schedules, and work orders.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of CNC VMC programming.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Hands‑on experience in tool selection, machining processes, and quality control.
