The Placement Executive is responsible for managing and facilitating the placement process for candidates, ensuring that they are successfully placed in suitable job roles with partner companies or clients. This role requires a blend of recruitment, coordination, and relationship‑building skills, with a focus on understanding the needs of both candidates and employers. The Executive plays a critical role in preparing candidates for the job market, guiding them through interviews, and managing communication between job seekers and employers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate the placement of students or candidates in job roles based on their skills, qualifications, and career goals. Understand job market trends and requirements to guide candidates to suitable opportunities.
• Ensure candidates are well‑prepared for interviews through resume building, mock interviews, and career counseling.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and industry partners to understand their recruitment needs, acting as a liaison between employers and candidates.
• Match candidates with appropriate job openings based on skills, qualifications, and career aspirations; coordinate interview schedules and follow up to ensure timely placement.
• Maintain a database of job vacancies, candidates, and placements, ensuring records are up‑to‑date.
• Provide career advice and guidance, including job search strategies, interview preparation, and market trends.
• Develop soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and time management to enhance employability.
• Maintain accurate records of placements, generate and maintain reports on placement success and overall effectiveness.
• Participate in job fairs, employer networking events, and industry seminars to build relationships and create placement opportunities.
• Promote the services of the placement department to both candidates and potential employers.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed for each placement, including employment contracts, agreements, and legal or regulatory requirements, and maintain confidentiality and data protection.
