Job summary

Tango Pizza is seeking a Pizza Chef for a full-time, on-site role in Muzaffarnagar. You will prepare and cook pizzas from dough to garnishing, manage mise en place, and ensure proper storage and safety in a busy kitchen.

You will work with the service team to fulfill orders efficiently, support menu development, and may assist in training junior kitchen staff while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Qualifications

Role Description

The Pizza Chef is a full-time, on-site role based in Muzaffarnagar. This role involves preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas, from dough making and sauce preparation to baking and garnishing, while maintaining consistent taste and presentation. The Pizza Chef plans daily mise en place, manages ingredient inventory, and ensures all food items are stored and handled correctly. Responsibilities include upholding kitchen hygiene standards, maintaining a clean work area, and following safety procedures. The Pizza Chef collaborates with the service team to fulfill orders efficiently, supports menu development, and may assist in training junior kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in food preparation and cooking, with demonstrated experience in pizza-making.
• Knowledge of sauces and food & beverage basics relevant to a pizzeria environment.
• Understanding of hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple orders at once.
• Prior experience as a Pizza Chef, Cook, or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
• Capability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
