Tecnicas Reunidas in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Piping Stress Engineer with 8+ years of experience to lead piping stress analyses and ensure compliance with ASME/API standards. The role requires expertise in resolving critical stress and nozzle load concerns, and proficiency in CAESAR II for oil and gas projects.

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in piping stress analysis.
• Strong expertise in piping stress analysis, including resolving critical stress issues and equipment nozzle load concerns.
• Proficiency in CAESAR II within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Hands-on experience in piping flexibility and stress analysis.
• Experience in calculating piping loads on pipe racks, structural structures, vessels, and equipment platforms.
• Good knowledge of ASME, API, and other relevant industry codes and standards.

Responsabilidades

• Strong understanding of piping stress analysis concepts and the ability to resolve critical stress and equipment nozzle load issues.
• Strong knowledge of piping supports design concepts.
• Perform quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision, and work effectively as a team member on all assignments.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, and other relevant industry standards.
• Calculate and estimate piping loads on pipe racks, structures, vessels, and platforms.
• Prepare stress analysis of isometrics, including all required data for pipe support definition.
• Calculate and select variable and constant spring hangers.
• Knowledge of pipe supports, including snubbers, rigid struts, spring hangers, and sway braces.
• Prepare requisitions for inquiry and purchase, along with technical tabulations for piping support elements.
• Prepare piping stress analysis reports in accordance with project specifications.
• Prepare drawings for non-standard pipe support using 2D CAD software.
• Select appropriate clips and attachments for equipment.
• Knowledge of piping materials, piping codes, and applicable standards.
• Knowledge of pipe supports detail drawings and supports layout drawings.
• Design experience in piping systems, pipe supports, and piping layouts.
• Coordinate with Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to ensure design compatibility across all disciplines.
• Collaborating with piping and pipe support leads to developing optimal design solutions.
• Experience in piping design in accordance with applicable ASME standards.
• Review vendor drawings and provide technical comments, where required.
• Knowledge of plot plans, equipment nozzle orientations, platform drawings, structural details, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
