Job description

We are looking for a Material Engineer with 7+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. The candidate will be responsible for material selection, preparation and review of material specifications, piping classes, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews for EPC projects.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC projects.
• Experience in material selection for piping, pipelines, valves, fittings, and process equipment.
• Knowledge of corrosion assessment, material compatibility, coatings, and cathodic protection.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, ISO, and NACE.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Material Requisitions (MR), Material Data Sheets (MDS), and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Understanding of welding, fabrication, inspection, and QA/QC requirements.
• Strong coordination skills with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Procurement, and Construction teams.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

Experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas projects and EPC engineering environments.
