Utthunga Technologies in Bengaluru, India seeks a Piping Lead with 10+ years of Oil & Gas experience to guide piping engineering and design across multi-disciplinary projects. You will manage piping design deliverables, lead reviews, mentor engineers, and ensure compliance with project specs and international codes.

The role involves leading model reviews using E3D, PDMS, SP3D, Plant 3D or equivalents and coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines and clients to ensure timely delivery

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in piping engineering and design in Oil & Gas.
• Proven ability to lead piping projects across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience ensuring compliance with international codes and client standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead piping engineering and design activities from concept to construction support.
• Develop and review piping layouts, equipment layouts, PMS, GA drawings and isometrics.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Project Management teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to piping engineers and designers.
• Participate in HAZOP, safety reviews, model reviews and design reviews.
• Interface with clients, licensors, and project stakeholders and monitor progress.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Piping Lead with 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry to lead piping engineering and design activities across multi-disciplinary projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing piping design, engineering deliverables, team coordination, client interactions, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes, and industry standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage piping engineering and design activities from concept through detailed engineering and construction support.
• Develop and review piping layouts, equipment layouts, piping material specifications, and engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Project Management teams.
• Review and approve:
  • Plot Plans
  • Equipment Layouts
  • Piping General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
  • Isometrics
  • Piping Material Specifications (PMS)
  • Valve Data Sheets
  • Stress Analysis Reports
  • Material Take-Offs (MTO)
• Ensure compliance with ASME, ANSI, API, ASTM, NACE, and client standards.
• Lead model reviews using tools such as E3D, PDMS, SP3D, Plant 3D, or equivalent.
• Resolve interface and constructability issues during engineering and execution phases.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor documents and technical bid evaluations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to piping engineers and designers.
• Participate in HAZOP, Safety Reviews, Model Reviews, and Design Reviews.
• Monitor engineering progress, schedules, quality, and resource utilization.
• Interface directly with clients, consultants, licensors, and project stakeholders.
• Provide construction and commissioning support as required.
