Job summary

Rcpc is seeking a skilled piping engineer to develop material specifications for process and utility services, calculate pipe wall thickness, and coordinate with design and procurement teams. The role includes preparing commodity codes, technical purchase specs, and reviewing vendor drawings for piping items.

The candidate will perform MTO, manage quantities, and monitor surpluses and shortages, ensuring compliance with codes and project needs.

Qualifications

• Prepare piping material specifications for process and utility services.
• Calculate pipe wall thickness, branch reinforcement, line blank, etc.
• Prepare component commodity codes for company and project databases.
• Prepare technical purchase specifications and BE for piping bulk components and specialty items.
• Vendor drawing review for piping items.
• Prepare List of Valves, Specialty Items, Uncounted Items, Etc.
• Coordinate with Piping design and stress, Process, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Procurement, Parent Office etc.
• Perform MTO (Material take off) and control the piping items quantity, monitor the surplus and shortages.
