Job summary

Conserve solution in Chennai is seeking a piping designer with 4+ years of mechanical experience to contribute to plant projects using Plant 3D. You will prepare 2D/3D designs, piping and equipment GA, structural GA and plot plans, develop isometrics, and create 3D models of equipment, piping and supports, while ensuring compliance with codes and timely delivery.

The role requires strong documentation and collaboration with project engineers and vendors to resolve design issues and ensure data

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in piping design and plant layout.
• Proficient in Plant 3D software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop 2D and 3D designs.
• Prepare piping GA, equipment GA, structural GA and plot plan.
• Develop and review isometrics per GA and P&ID.
• Create 3D models: equipment, piping, structures, pipe supports and instruments.
• Produce 3D model drawings using drawings, plot plans and supplier data.
• Ensure designs meet codes and standards and perform data/clash checks.
• Prepare layout preparations.
• Review vendor drawings and 3D models.
• Document progress and report to Project Engineers.
• Incorporate feedback during development and construction phases.
• Review project specs and design instructions.
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings/documentation for clients.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and Develops 2D and 3D Designs.
• Prepare of Piping GA, Equipment GA Structural GA & Plot Plan.
• Development & Review of Isometrics as per GA and P&ID.
• Prepare 3D Modelling like Equipment Modelling, Piping Modelling, Structures Modelling, Pipe Supports & Instruments.
• Perform 3D Model drawings using specifications, standard drawings, design instructions, plot plan, flow diagrams, line list and supplier information.
• Prepare the design, are safe to operate and meet all required codes and standards and to perform data consistency check & clash check.
• Preparing the layout preparation
• Review of Vendor Drawings & Checking of 3D Models
• Document, record and report on meetings, progress of jobs and construction completions from design & validation reports from Project Engineers.
• Study to prepare Design Basis and Project Technical Documents.
• Incorporate feedback from projects and customers for design clarification and modifications during the development and construction project phases.
• Review project specifications, administrative and technical practices, design instructions, plot plan, flow diagrams and supplier information.
• To ensure timely delivery of drawings/documentation for Client Products following the work procedure defined from time to time with efficient utilization resources provided, with an emphasis on free from error require Your Skills.
