Job summary

C2C Engineering in Chennai invites applications for piping design engineer with 0-2 years experience in piping drafting and 3D modelling. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Plant 3D and MS Office required.

Role includes development of piping design, P&IDs, creation of 3D plant models, 2D/3D/isometric drawings, and BOQ extraction. Strong knowledge of piping standards and coordination with other disciplines is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 0 to 2 years experience in piping drafting and 3D modelling
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Plant 3D and MS Office is a must
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Development of Piping Design, P&IDs
• Preparation of plant & equipment layouts
• Preparation of piping layouts
• Development of 3D plant models
• Extraction of Valve Schedule and BOQ
• Preparation of piping Isometric drawing.
• Preparation of plant GA & Erection drawings.
• Preparation of 2D, 3D & Isometric drawing
• Should be able to review, analyze and understand the Process, Piping and Plant Layout requirements and the P&IDs
• Should possess good knowledge of Piping Standards and should be able to relate to its effect on the Process.
• Co-ordination with other disciplines
