Job summary

Airswift seeks a Piping Construction Superintendent to lead piping fabrication, installation, and commissioning for offshore topsides projects in India. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and schedule adherence across multinational teams.

Qualified candidates hold a Diploma or equivalent, with at least 8 years in piping supervision on major offshore platforms or living quarters, and experience with carbon steel, exotic alloys, and GRE/CRA-clad piping systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification or equivalent technical certification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a piping supervision role on large offshore topsides, decks, or living quarters projects.
• Prior experience in large offshore platform or living quarters projects.
• Proven experience working with multinational project teams and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of spool fabrication, piping installation, and piping completion activities.
• Familiarity with line walks, hydrotesting, flushing, drying, reinstatement, and flange management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during fabrication and installation.
• Oversee piping fabrication, installation, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
• Manage piping execution to meet safety, quality, and schedule objectives.
• Coordinate with engineering to resolve constructability issues, design clashes, and site challenges.
• Verify preservation, handling, and protection of piping systems per project specifications.

Piping Construction Superintendent (Open to locals & Expat)

Job Purpose

The Construction Superintendent (Piping) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing piping fabrication, installation, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities for offshore topsides facilities. The role ensures safe, high-quality, and schedule-driven execution of the Compression Project piping scope while maintaining full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with project HSE requirements, safe work practices, and industry regulations throughout fabrication and installation activities.
• Oversee piping fabrication, installation, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and quality requirements.
• Manage piping execution to achieve project objectives related to safety, quality, schedule, and construction efficiency.
• Review fabrication and installation sequences and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve constructability issues, design clashes, and site challenges.
• Verify proper preservation, handling, and protection of piping systems in accordance with approved project specifications.
