Job summary

Aarvi Encon is seeking an experienced Construction Structural Superintendent to oversee and coordinate structural construction and commissioning activities at site for FPSO/offshore projects. The role ensures safety, quality, and schedule adherence in alignment with approved drawings and project specifications.

The successful candidate will lead construction teams, manage subcontractors, and coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, and commissioning to deliver structural hull and topsides work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
• Relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, Marine, FPSO or large-scale industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of structural hull and/or topsides construction.
• Proven experience leading construction teams on site.
• Understanding of structural construction, fabrication, erection and commissioning processes.
• Knowledge of HSSE standards, risk management and process safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all structural construction and commissioning activities at site.
• Ensure works are executed per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.
• Manage daily site activities including workforce, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to meet milestones.
• Lead site inspections, testing and verification activities.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Construction, Commissioning and other disciplines.
• Maintain progress reports, quality records and HSSE documentation.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Construction Structural Superintendent to oversee and coordinate structural construction and commissioning activities at site. The role will ensure structural works are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, HSSE requirements and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all structural construction and commissioning activities at site.
• Ensure structural works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project schedule.
• Manage daily site activities including workforce, materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Monitor construction progress and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Lead and coordinate structural site inspections, testing and verification activities.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE, Quality and Process Safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Construction, Commissioning and other disciplines.
• Manage structural scope changes and ensure proper implementation at site.
• Maintain accurate progress reports, quality records and HSSE documentation.
• Supervise, mentor and guide construction supervisors and site teams.
• Identify construction risks, resolve site issues and ensure smooth execution of structural works.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, subcontractors and third-party stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore, Marine, FPSO or large-scale industrial construction.
• Strong experience in Structural Hull and/or Structural Topsides construction.
• Proven experience managing and leading construction teams at site.
• Good understanding of structural construction, fabrication, erection and commissioning processes.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, inspection, testing and quality requirements.
• Good understanding of HSSE standards, risk management and process safety.
• Strong coordination, leadership and problem-solving skills.
