Job summary

TP is seeking an experienced security specialist to oversee general facilities security and safety operations. The role focuses on deterring crime, protecting assets and people, coordinating clearances, and responding to safety incidents.

The position involves leading a team, developing programs, and coordinating with law enforcement as needed to ensure compliance and rapid response across all facilities.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

General Facilities Security & Safety work focuses on deterring crime and protecting an organizations property, assets, and people including: Personal/electronic surveillance, securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points. Coordinating and administering security clearances. Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures, and evicting trespassers. Investigating loss control and accident reports. Responding to requests for safety/security assistance from employees. May perform first aid if required. May coordinate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary. Experienced Specialist in one specialized discipline as well as having a thorough understanding of related disciplines. Will most often be a driving force behind the development of new solutions for programs, complex projects, processes or activities. Serves as final decision/opinion maker in the area, coaches, mentors and trains others on the area of expertise.
