Job summary

Qualifications

The Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing and management of medicines in accordance with prescriptions, hospital policies, and applicable pharmacy regulations. The role involves reviewing prescriptions, providing appropriate medication guidance to patients, maintaining accurate pharmacy and controlled-drug records, and ensuring proper storage and handling of medicines. The Pharmacist also monitors inventory, stock levels, expiry dates, and batch details, supports procurement and stock verification activities, coordinates with doctors and nursing teams, and contributes to the smooth day-to-day functioning of the pharmacy while maintaining high standards of patient safety and pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions.
• Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, interactions, and potential errors.
• Provide guidance to patients regarding medication usage and precautions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.

• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with pharmacy/ERP software.
