• Dispense medicines to patients as per valid prescriptions and hospital pharmacy procedures.
• Verify medicine name, dosage, strength, quantity, expiry, and prescription details before dispensing.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy stock records, purchase entries, issue records, and billing details.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, stores, and patients for medicine requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, near‑expiry medicines, damaged stock, or fast‑moving items.
• Ensure proper storage of medicines as per temperature, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Counsel patients on medicine usage, dosage, timing, and precautions as per professional guidance.
• Support inventory verification, stock reconciliation, and periodic physical stock checks.
• Maintain proper labeling, segregation, and arrangement of medicines and consumables.
