Responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescribed medications accurately as per doctor instructions.
• Verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, allergies, and medication safety.
• Maintain proper storage, handling, and labeling of medicines and pharmaceutical products.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of essential medicines and consumables.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication requirements.
• Manage pharmacy stock, perform stock verification, and maintain inventory records.
• Ensure timely ordering and replenishment of medicines and pharmacy supplies.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure safe disposal of expired or damaged medicines.
• Provide medication counseling and guidance to patients regarding dosage and usage instructions.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation, billing records, and dispensing logs.
• Follow pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and safety protocols at all times.
