Job summary

Health Care Global Enterprises in Bengaluru (India) is seeking a Pharmacy Purchase - Manager/SR Executive to lead end-to-end procurement of pharmacy items for the hospital. You will oversee ROL creation, PO processing, vendor coordination, and ensure timely, cost-effective supply.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, adherence to CPD SOPs, and the ability to track stock, payments, and supplier performance.

Qualifications

• End-to-end pharmacy procurement experience.
• Knowledge of hospital procurement policies and CPD SOPs.

• Manage ROL preparation, approvals, and PO processing.
• Supervise pharmacy purchases and vendor coordination.
• Negotiate rates, discounts, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor GRIR, invoices, payments, and pending purchase issues.
• Track stock-outs, delayed supplies, pending POs, and vendor performance.
• Escalate critical procurement issues to Senior Management.
• Prepare monthly Pharmacy Purchase reports for HOD analysis.

JOB DESCRIPTION PHARAMCY PURCHASE - MANAGER/ SR EXECUTIVE

Manage and supervise end-to-end pharmacy procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective, quality-compliant, and uninterrupted supply of pharmacy items.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ROL preparation, approvals, and PO processing.
• Supervise pharmacy purchases and vendor coordination.
• Negotiate rates, discounts, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure timely follow-up and fulfilment of pharmacy requirements.
• Coordinate with Pharmacy, Daycare, user departments, CPD, Finance, and Stores.
• Process out-of-formulary requirements as per approval and CPD SOPs.
• Manage near-expiry/non-moving stock, vendor returns, replacements, and credit notes.
• Monitor GRIR, invoices, payments, and pending purchase issues.
• Track stock-outs, delayed supplies, pending POs, and vendor performance.
• Conduct supplier evaluation and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and CPD SOPs.
• Escalate critical procurement issues to Senior Management.
• Every month Pharmacy Purchase reports and submit HOD for analysis.
