Job summary

Sudhamayi Enterprises in India is seeking a procurement professional to assist in purchasing medicines, surgical items, consumables, and medical equipment as hospital requirements. You will monitor stock levels, prepare purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.

Freshers welcome; B.Pharm preferred. Strong MS Excel skills and data management capability are required to support inventory tracking and reporting in the ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Assist in purchasing medicines, surgical items, consumables, and medical equipment as per hospital requirements.
• Monitor daily stock levels and identify items that need replenishment.
• Prepare and process purchase orders under the guidance of senior staff.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, order placement, and delivery follow-up.
• Compare product prices, quality, and supplier terms to support cost-effective purchasing.
• Verify received medicines and supplies against purchase orders and invoices.
• Check batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and product conditions during receipt.
• Maintain records of purchases, invoices, delivery challans, and vendor details.
• Update procurement and inventory data in ERP/Hospital Management Software.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, stores, and accounts departments regarding purchase requirements.
• Follow up on pending orders to ensure timely availability of medicines and consumables.
• Assist in managing emergency and urgent purchase requirements.
