Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, India seeks a Personal Assistant to provide executive assistance to the Managing Director and support for marketing activities. The role includes document preparation, diary management, travel coordination, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across the unit.

You will also manage communications, assist with events, and help create client-facing materials while collaborating with administrative teams to ensure smooth processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience assisting senior stakeholders, ideally MDs/Directors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and communication abilities.
  • Ability to create presentations and reports; strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and basic databases; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, edit, and format documents, papers, and speeches.
  • File and archive documents (paper/electronic).
  • Schedule meetings, manage diaries, and arrange travel.
  • Handle phone messages from internal and external sources.
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the assigned business unit.
  • Coordinate with administrative staff; manage client communications via email/SMS; support events and offers.
  • Draft client emails and statements; assist with branch branding and collateral.

Your key responsibilities
  • Producing, editing, proofing and formatting documents, research papers and speeches
  • Ensuring data entry and paper/electronic document filing/archiving
  • Scheduling/coordinating meetings, diaries, and travel arrangements
  • Receiving/relaying telephone messages from internal and external sources
  • Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the assigned business un
  • Working closely with other administrative support staff to ensure close communication and coordination. Must be responsible for managing timely client communications across email and SMS, organize lead‑generating client events, source Debit Card offers, and develop creative and performance journeys.
  • Strategize and create client emails and physical statements.
  • Manage branch and ATM branding and signage, and support branches with event collateral, translations, and revamped agreements and application forms.
  • Manage Safe Banking awareness across the website, email, SMS, statement stationery, welcome kits, and brochures, educating clients on financial and personal data threats and preventive measures; lead quarterly committee
Your skills and experience
  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant preferably supporting senior stakeholders i.e. Managing Directors / Directors in onshore locations
  • Educated to bachelor's degree level (Business Administration) or equivalent qualification/work ex
  • A self‑starter with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to create presentations and reports
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent spreadsheet and/or basic database skills (data matching, data entry, basic reporting)

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
